A journey that changed me or is it a vision that I saw in my path. My story is inspired from my childhood school The Lawrence, Lovedale. If there is one rule that I hold very close to my heart, it is to not hesitate when it comes to breaking rules. Of course, very importantly you first need to master them. This is something that I believe in firmly. Those who follow rules blindly, end up becoming robots - mindless, thoughtless and unable to create anything that is original. Manipulating rules and proportion of garments was one of the focus of this collection.

My experience of experimenting with different fabrics, cuts, silhouettes, forms and patterns helped in detailing this collection. The story is based from a real path that goes to the cemetery of my school and the things that I have seen in that path. I have used the flora and fauna that was around me to convey the story. I believe that there is beauty and freedom after death from the judgmental society around us. This collection is cinched at the waist while it has volume above and below conveying the idea of freedom beyond certain points. This once again underscores my design belief- of allowing dreams to soar voluminously.
