Street Monkers

The pairing of American and Asian culture has been repeatedly seen in movies since the 80’s and 90’s such as Karate Kid and Rush Hour. This collection mixes some of that nostalgia with a fresh point of view. Inspired by the Buddhist tradition on one side (lifestyle, clothes, tattoos, the martial arts Buddhist monks practice) and street graffiti.

This collection portrays a colorful and buzzing outgoing world where movement, rigor and freedom meet. Both designed for women and men, Street Monkers mixes bright colors with graffitis prints in drapey tops and trousers with tailored pieces.
