  • A Divine Manifestation of Time & Energy. In the heart of Odisha in eastern India, the Konark Sun Temple stands as a testament to time an architectural marvel imbued with spiritual energy, celestial precision, and artistic mastery. TOTEM is an exploration of this sacred space, reinterpreted through look statements. A collection where history, astrology, and craftsmanship converge. Drawing from the temple’s intricate textures, aged stone, and planetary alignments, each look channels the cosmic forces that shaped its existence. The garments are imbued with rich hues reflecting astrological insights, their patterns reminiscent of an inkblot test a psychological mirror into the universe, inspired by the visionary works of Susan Eder and Craig Dennis, blending personality and perception.
  • The art of pleating, deeply rooted in India’s traditional attire, symbolizes harmony, discipline, and the rhythmic dance of time. Textile manipulation and handcrafted details mirror the painstaking effort that went into the temple’s creation, honoring the artisans who built history in stone. Every silhouette tells a story, a fusion of past, present, and future, where fashion becomes a vessel for spiritual energy. In TOTEM, the body is not just clothed but adorned in the echoes of time, carrying forth the legacy of Konark into a modern, wearable mythology. Time is not linear. It is stitched, pleated, and woven forever moving, forever eternal.
